Floating City ala Haiti



So when we consider of Haiti, what do we consider about? Probably some sort of mess area? Well how about this instead Tangram 3DS collaborating with Boston Architect / Designer E Kevin Schopfer together creating a floating agricultural / light industrial city right off a shores of Haiti. Whats it called? Harvest City. Behold a 2 miles in diameter formidable of tethered floating modules. Holy goodness gracious!

There have been 4 zones in this project, communities companion by a linear canal system. Each of a 4 major canals have been focused upon office building neighborhoods which include of 4 story housing complexes. All along a outer fringe have been one acre stand circles with secondary tributary canals. The inside harbor is a city center with schools, executive buildings, village activities, as well as a general marketplace. The whole complete formidable floats as well as will be wire cumulative down to a sea bed.

The low form of a complete system, low draft, passed weight capacity, as well as fringe wave attenuators, hurricanes as well as typhoons will have little effect besides their collection of much indispensable H2O harvesting.
