Dont Answer That Knock!

When redesigning my house front door, we actually went through the discussion of peephole placement. While most of my family members are tall enough for standard placement, my mother-in-law and daughter are not. I wish I had chanced upon this creatively designed Who is out there peephole back then! It is such a simple solution to the age-old problem of how children or adults can safely open the door by seeing who is on the other side.

The Breguet 5157 Being Auctioned Off To Support The NY Philharmonic Breguet recently re-upped their attribute with a New York Philharmonic. To celebrate, they have donated one of their Classique watches (the 5157 in gold) to good a NYP's School Partnership program. The watch will be auctioned off around eBay with all proceeds starting to a program. The NY Philharmonic School Partnership Program "is geared to foster students creativity as well as understanding of music by a experience of symphonic music. Students study good low-pitched works, attend live performances of a New York Philharmonic as well as compose music of their own; opportunities students might not otherwise receive. Ponzi Schemer Bernie Madoff and his wife’s Belongings Auctioned

U.S. Marshalls Service on November 13th held an auction at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, where Ruth Madoff’s 10.5 carat diamond ring brought in the big bucks. This was actually an auction of the belongings of Ponzi schemer Bernie Maddof. Mrs. Maddof’s diamond ring was sold for 550,000, while her diamond earrings went for over 100,000. Apart from these two jewels, other items belonging to Ruth Maddof were also sold, and they brought in a total of $2million. Bernie Maddof’s Rolex “Moon Phase” also went under the hammer for $67,500. A Steinway & Sons grand piano also brought in $42,000. The couple’s king-sized bed went for $2,250. Who bought the bed? Tally Wiener, the lawyer who helped liquidate Fairfield Sentry, a fund, which fed money into Madoff’s accounts before going under. He said he will offer the bed to Mrs. Madoff.
