Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial (Golf Green)

This ones for you, golf fans. Yes, Omega really did create this watch to celebrate its presence in the world of golf a new Green Seamaster Aqua Terra, featuring a green Seamaster notation and minute markers around the edge of the dial. OK, its a very fairly subtle modification change to a basic Seamaster Aqua Terra, but I must admit it looks pretty good. Green can be a very vibrant color, so it is probably good that Omega used it in just a few places on the dial to achieve the desired visual effect. Omega uses orange on its Seamaster Planet Ocean watches in a similar manner. Nothing to jump up and down about, but I would say that the new Green Seamaster Aqua Terra gives watch fans a nice new choice in this stylish but otherwise understated collection from Omega.

    Ponzi Schemer Bernie Madoff and his wife’s Belongings Auctioned

    U.S. Marshalls Service on November 13th held an auction at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, where Ruth Madoff’s 10.5 carat diamond ring brought in the big bucks. This was actually an auction of the belongings of Ponzi schemer Bernie Maddof. Mrs. Maddof’s diamond ring was sold for 550,000, while her diamond earrings went for over 100,000. Apart from these two jewels, other items belonging to Ruth Maddof were also sold, and they brought in a total of $2million. Bernie Maddof’s Rolex “Moon Phase” also went under the hammer for $67,500. A Steinway & Sons grand piano also brought in $42,000. The couple’s king-sized bed went for $2,250. Who bought the bed? Tally Wiener, the lawyer who helped liquidate Fairfield Sentry, a fund, which fed money into Madoff’s accounts before going under. He said he will offer the bed to Mrs. Madoff.     Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days Perpetual 16124SQ Watch Available On James List

    Back in 2007 Jaeger-LeCoultre expelled this Master Eight Days Perpetual calendar (ref. 16124SQ) watch - as well as it still looks beautiful today. With an original cost of about $100,000 , there have been (relative) deals to be found today. The skeletonized black 'frosted' transformation is amazing to demeanour at, but you'll have to forgive the pattern for creation we hunt the bit for all the report which we have available upon the dial. The transformation tone is essentially due to ruthenium, as well as there have been pure discs all over the dial. Set in the 41mm wide 18k pinkish bullion "Master" pick up case, the watch nicely mixes classical Jaeger-LeCoultre cultured with the visible seductiveness of the complicated style skeletonized movement. Legibility is maintained through use of bullion hands as well as hour markers which contrast with the gray alternative elements which have been great.
