Ivan Simonic, the Slovenian winemaker has newly revealed an inimitable technique for sappy wine after he collected 600 bottles he had laid 6 months ago in clay-made amphoras on the Adriatic seabed. Christened after the Greek god of the sea, the Poseidon wine was kept during the abyss of 300 meters where the temperature (between twelve as well as 13 degrees Celsius) is only right for storing as well as sappy wine. Ivan Simonic pronounced which owing to the consistent transformation of the sea, the usual techniques used to mature sparkling wine are not necessary.

The singular wine will sell for around 100 Euros ($139) the bottle. If the sales will be satisfactory, Simonic has plans to set up the purpose-built low sea wine cellar.
