World’s thinnest tourbillon watch movement created by Piaget with its Caliber 600P

Piaget-Caliber-600P-1.jpg Piaget keeps getting better and better with its watch-making finesse. And now they have come up with the thinnest manually wound movement with a tourbillon escapement, and if you are an ardent watch collector, you would know how difficult this is to achieve. This Caliber 600P movement has comes with a 3.5mm thickness, which features skeletonized bridges and a flying tourbillon. Their first attempt is set in 18 carat rose gold and diamonds encrusted into the mailplate, and looks are set to enter the Piaget Emperador kind of rectangular watch cases. Hoping to see a watch with this technology soon though. Popout [Luxist]
