Award-Winning Peri Yachts on James

Turkeys Peri Yachts bagged not one but two prizes at the World Yacht Trophies Award 2011 in Canned for Best Design and Most Innovative flybridge over 24 meters for their new high-tech Peri 41T. The flagship and crowning glory of the Peri range, the 41-metre trideck vessel has just been listed for sale on JamesList by Navis Marine of Croatia for 14.42 million, or about $20 million. Slated for delivery in 2013, it was designed with the conviction that vast areas of space and privacy are one of lifes greatest luxuries. Its beam-wide staterooms and master bathrooms are amongst the outstanding benefits of its light but strong epoxy sandwich construction.

U.S. Marshalls Service on November 13th held an auction at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, where Ruth Madoff’s 10.5 carat diamond ring brought in the big bucks. This was actually an auction of the belongings of Ponzi schemer Bernie Maddof. Mrs. Maddof’s diamond ring was sold for 550,000, while her diamond earrings went for over 100,000. Tally Wiener, the lawyer who helped liquidate Fairfield Sentry, a fund, which fed money into Madoff’s accounts before going under. He said he will offer the bed to Mrs. Madoff. Back in 2007 Jaeger-LeCoultre expelled this Master Eight Days Perpetual calendar (ref. 16124SQ) watch - as well as it still looks beautiful today.
