A Week On The Wrist: The Linde Werdelin SpidoSpeed Chronograph

Always a fan favorite, Linde Werdelin made a name for itself with the introduction of the skeletonized SpidoLite wristwatch in 2009, conceived after a trip up Mt. Everest. At Basel World 2011, we were given a look at the second member of the Spido family and the brand's first chronograph, the SpidoSpeed. Just last month, I was given one of the first SpidoSpeed chronographs to leave production to wear around New York and review. What I found is a watch that offers buyers a new option in the rugged chrono category - one dominated by AP and Hublot - but one that does it in a thoughtful way. U.S. Marshalls Service on November 13th held an auction at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, where Ruth Madoff’s 10.5 carat diamond ring brought in the big bucks. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days Perpetual 16124SQ Watch Available On James List

Back in 2007 Jaeger-LeCoultre expelled this Master Eight Days Perpetual calendar (ref. 16124SQ) watch - as well as it still looks beautiful today. With an original cost of about $100,000 , there have been (relative) deals to be found today. The skeletonized black 'frosted' transformation is amazing to demeanour at, but you'll have to forgive the pattern for creation we hunt the bit for all the report which we have available upon the dial. The transformation tone is essentially due to ruthenium, as well as there have been pure discs all over the dial. Set in the 41mm wide 18k pinkish bullion "Master" pick up case, the watch nicely mixes classical Jaeger-LeCoultre cultured with the visible seductiveness of the complicated style skeletonized movement. Legibility is maintained through use of bullion hands as well as hour markers which contrast with the gray alternative elements which have been great.
