Vintage Sunglasses, Curated By Silver Lining Opticians, On Gilt Man Today At 12 Noon

Our boys at Silver Lining Opticians, purveyors of fine vintage and independently made eye ware, are hosting a vintage sunglasses sale on Gilt Man today, starting at 12 noon. The selection will include some absolutely timeless designs, including those from Persol as seen above next to a Rolex GMT Master II sitting portside in St. Tropez.

U.S. Marshalls Service on November 13th held an auction at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, where Ruth Madoff’s 10.5 carat diamond ring brought in the big bucks. This was actually an auction of the belongings of Ponzi schemer Bernie Maddof. Mrs. Maddof’s diamond ring was sold for 550,000, while her diamond earrings went for over 100,000. Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days Perpetual 16124SQ Watch Available On James List

Back in 2007 Jaeger-LeCoultre expelled this Master Eight Days Perpetual calendar (ref. 16124SQ) watch - as well as it still looks beautiful today. With an original cost of about $100,000 , there have been (relative) deals to be found today. The skeletonized black 'frosted' transformation is amazing to demeanour at, but you'll have to forgive the pattern for creation we hunt the bit for all the report which we have available upon the dial. The transformation tone is essentially due to ruthenium, as well as there have been pure discs all over the dial. Set in the 41mm wide 18k pinkish bullion "Master" pick up case, the watch nicely mixes classical Jaeger-LeCoultre cultured with the visible seductiveness of the complicated style skeletonized movement.
